Within a five-week timeframe, Durango managed this food court restaurant build-out at Outlet Collection Winnipeg (OCW) from the ground up, starting with slab rough-ins. OCW was under construction at the time, with the goal to open in May 2017 and have all the food court restaurants ready to go. We received the building permit at the end of March and completed the job by the first week of May.
The tight timeline wasn’t the only challenge. The tenant’s engineered drawings came from Ontario, and Manitoba’s codes are different. We helped our client navigate through those challenges in order to pass all inspections.
